KEEPING IT USEFUL FOR EVERYONE
Simple tools.
Thoughtful use.
These terms describe the intended use of VortexDL by Vortex Studios, the service’s limits, and how to report a concern.

Use content you’re allowed to download
Use VortexDL for content you own, have permission to download, or are otherwise entitled to use. Being publicly viewable does not by itself give permission to download, copy or redistribute a work. You are responsible for how you use downloaded material and for complying with the source platform’s terms.
VortexDL is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook, Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok or the other platforms whose links may be supported. Platform names belong to their respective owners.
Public access and service limits
Guest downloads do not require a VortexDL account. An optional account enables features such as saved history. The service processes accessible public links; it does not guarantee access to every post, page, file, playlist or format.
Private content, sign-in requirements, removed files and platform changes can prevent a download. Do not use this service to bypass access controls, paywalls or content restrictions. VortexDL does not provide social account credentials to visitors.
Keep the service available to others
Do not submit harmful files, attack the service, attempt to access another person’s account or download, evade request limits, or use automated requests to overwhelm the queue. Limits on file size, request frequency, download duration and simultaneous jobs may apply.
Requests or accounts associated with abuse may be restricted. If a normal request is blocked, contact support with the error and source URL rather than repeatedly resubmitting it.
Accounts and security
Choose a unique password and keep your authenticator and backup codes private. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. Do not impersonate another person or share credentials with support.
Account recovery can require ownership checks and may not be possible if you lose all verification methods. You can continue to use guest downloads while seeking help.
Availability and your saved files
VortexDL is provided as available. Downloads can fail or become unavailable due to source changes, connection problems, service limits or maintenance. Availability, quality, completeness and compatibility are not guaranteed.
Download files are temporary. Save the files you need to your own device and keep your own backups. A history entry is a record of a download request, not permanent file storage.
Report a rights, privacy or safety concern
Email support@vortexdl.net with the relevant source URL, an explanation of your concern, and contact details for a reply. If you are reporting a rights issue, explain your relationship to the content. Share only information needed to investigate.
Do not send passwords, security codes, browser cookies or sensitive documents. The support team may ask for further information to understand and address the report.
Open source software and contact
The downloadable source package includes its software license and third-party notices. That software license governs the code; it does not grant rights to content from other platforms.
